Become Aware of Uganda and their Child Soldeirs

In Northern Uganda, famlies are destroyed and torn apart. Daily, they fear for their lives and the lives of their children, they fear that the LRA (Lords Resistence Army) lead by Joseph Kony, will come into their homes and abduct their child. Everyday this happens to hundreds of familes and because they must protect their children, they send their children to walk 10 miles everyday before dark from their villages into a less secluded area to sleep at night safely with fear that the rebels (LRA) will find them and abduct the children.

Every night these children sleep in a dirty empty building, on the floor. They sleep in filth to stay safe. Then every morning before sunrise, these children walk those 10 miles back home to return to their duties, most of which do not include school! Can you imagine your own kids going through that process? I would hope not...
